Terms and conditions
Last updated: 2026-10-23
1. Parties and acceptance
These terms govern the use of altarisglobaltrading.com (the "Site") and the sale of goods by Altaris Global Trading LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Altaris", "we"), to business customers ("Customer", "you"). By using the Site or placing an order you accept these terms. The Site and our sales are for businesses only, not for consumers.
2. What we do
We buy goods from manufacturers and suppliers in our own name and sell them to our customers. We act as seller, not as agent of the customer or of the manufacturer. We do not provide payment, money transfer, currency exchange or other financial services, and we do not make payments on behalf of third parties. We are not a customs broker or freight forwarder.
3. Information on the Site
The Site is for information only and is not an offer. Example figures, such as the example quote, are illustrations. An offer exists only in a quote or proforma invoice issued by us.
4. Quotes
Quotes are in US dollars and valid for the period they state, or 15 days if none is stated. They depend on the supplier's confirmation of price, quantity and lead time, and are not binding until we accept a purchase order in writing.
5. Orders
A contract is formed when we confirm your purchase order in writing or you accept our proforma invoice and we confirm it. The proforma invoice sets out the products, specifications, quantities, price, Incoterm, payment terms and estimated lead time. Changes after confirmation must be agreed in writing and may change the price or the lead time.
6. Prices and payment
- Prices are in US dollars, per unit, with our margin included, under the Incoterm stated in the proforma invoice (Incoterms® 2020).
- Payment terms are set for each order in the proforma invoice: usually an advance and a balance due on the agreed event.
- You pay by bank transfer to the account stated in our invoice, from an account held in your company's name. We do not accept payments from third parties.
- Each party bears its own bank charges.
- If a payment is late, we may suspend production follow-up or shipment and hold the shipping documents until it is paid.
- All payments are final, except as set out in our refund policy.
7. Delivery, risk and title
Delivery and the transfer of risk follow the Incoterm stated in the proforma invoice. From that point, loss of or damage to the goods in transit is covered by your cargo insurance, not by us. Lead times are estimates and depend on the manufacturer, carriers and authorities. To the extent permitted by law, title to the goods passes to you when we receive full payment.
8. Importing
You are the importer of record in the destination country. You are responsible for import licences, registrations, product certifications, labelling requirements, duties, taxes and customs clearance, and for telling us before the order about any requirement the goods must meet.
9. Approval before loading
Before loading, we send you photos and videos of the finished goods. You may also arrange, at your own cost, an independent inspection at the factory. You must approve the goods or send us your objections in writing within 2 business days after receiving the photos and videos. If you do not object within that period, the goods are deemed approved. We pass any objection to the manufacturer and ask for it to be corrected before loading, but we cannot guarantee that the manufacturer will do so. Once the goods are approved, no later claims about their condition, quality or quantity are accepted.
10. No warranty
The goods are sold as approved before loading, "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the price you paid for the goods that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost sales or business interruption.
12. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, strikes, port closures, shipping disruptions, or government actions, including import or foreign-exchange restrictions. Deadlines are extended for the duration of the event. If it lasts more than 60 days, either party may cancel the part of the order not yet performed, and our refund policy applies.
13. Compliance
Both parties comply with applicable sanctions, export-control, anti-corruption and anti-money-laundering laws. We may ask for information about your company and its beneficial owners, and we may refuse or cancel an order that would breach those laws.
14. Brands and intellectual property
The content of the Site, our name and our logo belong to Altaris. If you ask for goods with your own brand, logo or design, you confirm that you hold the rights to use them and you are responsible for any claim related to them.
15. Use of the Site
Do not use the Site to send false information or information about other people without their authorisation, to send malicious code, to collect data automatically, or for any unlawful purpose.
16. Indemnity
You will indemnify Altaris against third-party claims caused by your breach of these terms, of import rules in the destination country, or of third-party rights, including reasonable legal fees.
17. Privacy
We handle personal data as set out in our privacy policy.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and every order are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. The state and federal courts located in Wyoming have jurisdiction, unless a specific contract between the parties provides otherwise.
19. Order of precedence
If a proforma invoice or a signed contract conflicts with these terms, the proforma invoice or contract prevails for that order.
20. Changes
We may update these terms. Each order is governed by the version in force when we confirm it.
21. Severability
If a provision is found invalid, the rest of these terms remain in force.
