1. Who we are

Altaris Global Trading LLC ("Altaris", "we", "us") is a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA. Mailing address: 1000 Brickell Avenue, Suite #715, PMB 153, Miami, FL 33131, USA. Contact: info@altarisglobaltrading.com.

This policy explains how we handle personal data on altarisglobaltrading.com (the "Site") and in our dealings with customers and suppliers.

2. Who this policy is for

The Site and our sales are for businesses. The personal data we handle belongs to people who contact us or deal with us on behalf of a company: owners, employees and representatives.

3. Data we collect

  • Data you send us: the details in the quote form (name, company, country, email, phone if you add it, your role, what you want to buy and the estimated order value), the details in the portal access request (name, company and email) and anything you send by email or messaging apps.
  • Customer and order data: company name, tax ID, contact people, delivery and document details, and records of orders, invoices and payments.
  • Technical data: when you visit the Site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and browser data to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. To limit spam we store a one-way hash of your IP address with each quote request, not the IP itself.
  • Visit statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
  • Bot protection: the quote form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks browser signals to tell people from bots.

4. Cookies

We do not use advertising, profiling or tracking cookies. Our providers may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to keep the Site secure.

5. How we use your data

  • To answer your request and prepare quotes.
  • To manage orders, documents, deliveries, invoices and payments.
  • To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations, including anti-money laundering and sanctions checks.
  • To prevent fraud, spam and misuse of the Site.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used and improve it.

Where the law that applies to you requires a legal basis, we rely on: your request or our contract with your company; our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent when you send the quote form.

7. Marketing

We do not subscribe you to newsletters. We only contact you about your request, your orders, or if you ask us to.

8. Who we share data with

  • Service providers who work for us: hosting and security (Cloudflare), email, banking and accounting providers.
  • Parties involved in an order, only as needed to complete it: manufacturers and suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, insurers and inspection companies. For example, the consignee's details appear on shipping documents.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights.

We do not sell personal data.

9. International transfers

We and our providers process data in the United States and other countries. Order data may be shared with suppliers and logistics companies in the countries where goods are made and shipped, including China. We share only what each party needs.

10. How long we keep data

  • Quote requests that do not become an order: 24 months after our last contact.
  • Customer, order and payment records: for the period required by tax and commercial law.
  • Then we delete or anonymise the data.

11. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, or object to how we use it. Write to info@altarisglobaltrading.com. We reply within 30 days. Residents of Argentina may also exercise the rights granted by Law 25,326 and contact the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP).

12. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect data. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so avoid sending sensitive information we have not asked for.

13. Minors

The Site is for businesses and is not directed at people under 18.

Links to third-party sites are governed by their own policies.

15. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version and its date are always on this page.
